Here are many route to get to Koh Tao from many destination for guidelines for you.

Bangkok to Koh Tao

Bangkok to Koh Tao route.

- Bangkok to koh tao is about 9 hours by bus, then by speed boat included. And this cost is 1,100 bath for oneway trip.
- Koh tao can be reached in 9 hours by plane the by speed boat included (Most of the time is wasted waiting for the timetalbe for buses). And this cost is 1,600-4,300 bath for oneway trip that depeding on the airline promotion.

Surat Thani to Koh Tao

Surat Thani train station to Koh Tao is about 4 - 7 hours upto road and vessel traffic. On a journey, The public bus will begin at 8.00 a.m. to at noon. The bus will take you to Lomprayah Tapee Pier then you have to buy a ferry ticket to Koh toa. That cost about 1,500 bath included bus and ferry ticket.

First option, Phuket to Kor Toa route, you must go to in town of Surat Thani then go to Lomprayah pier by bus. After that you have to get the ferry to Koh Toa this option is cheapest route to go to Koh Tao from Phuket but it's took about 8-9 hours. Finally, we will tell you that cost about 1,500 baht per adult.

Secound option, if you have free time 2-3 days, you may be enjoy in Kor samui from Phuket by ariplane. Disadvancetage of this route is Kor Sumui has only 1 round ferry to Kor Toa therefore we recommend you rest in Kor Samui lest you miss ferry. The airplane to Kor Samui cost about 2,500 bahts and the ferry ticket to Kor Tao cost 600 bath.
