It is an area that connects 3 provinces, approximately an hour 42 minutes from Udon city center, consisting of Udon Thani, Loei and Nong Khai. Nong Bua Daeng is located in Kumphawapi District, Udon Thani Province, about 40 minutes from Udon City. It is a natural water source that is rich with many fish, bird species and aquatic plants. The highest number of lotus flowers bloom during December-February and gradually decrease in March. The lotus flowers will bloom in the early morning until around 11:00 am. Visitors will see red lotus flowers in full bloom on surface of the water.
