Bangkok to Phuket by Bus

recommend traveling by bus rather than train. Because the train only comes to Surat Thani, after that you have to take a bus to Phuket. The bus ticket price starts at around 600 baht per person.

Bangkok to Phuket by Train
You will need to take the train at Hua Lamphong Railway Station. And buy train tickets to Surat Thani which takes about 8 to 12 hours depending on traffic conditions. When you reach Surat Thani, you will need to purchase a bus ticket to Phuket and it will take around 5 hours. Train travel will take the most of the time, but you can get experience a different one.
