Kathu Waterfall and interesting nearby accommodation

Kathu Waterfall, Phuket Province, is a small waterfall located 4 kilometers from Kathu District Office. The area of the waterfall is shady with many kinds of greenery. The entrance to the waterfall is close to the Loch Palm Golf Course, where there are delicious restaurants available.

The rainy season runs from July to December when it is fertile and in the summer there is not much water flowing through the waterfalls, but it is still cool in the area.

The first tier waterfall can sit in the shade of nature and admire the view of Kathu Waterfall. In the second tier of the waterfall, there is a staircase leading up to it. This tier tourists can set a table to sit and eat with a cool atmosphere. It's another interesting place.

When arriving at Kathu Waterfall, there is not a very wide parking lot. At the parking lot, you can see the mountain range that is the beginning of the waterfall. There are shops and restaurants, and restrooms are available after the waterfall. Most of the tourists who come to Namtok Kathu are local people. Many foreigners who come here prefer to walk up to the nature trails upstream, but Thai people prefer to swim in waterfalls.

How to get to Kahu Waterfall
Kathu Waterfall is about 25 minutes from Phuket Town, 12 kilometers distance. Renting a car seems to be the most convenient way.
