Koh Khai or Khai Islands are located in the southern part of Koh Surin Tai, Phang Nga Province. Even though this is a small island but one of the most beautiful diving spots, this area has both coral reefs and underwater rock formations. There are 3 islands in the surrounding area which are Khai Nai Island, Khai Nok Island and Khai Nui Island. You can go snorkeling in all three islands.

Khai Nai Island is an island with clean white sand beaches along the beach. There is clear water, can be snorkeled easily, there are many coral reefs, but not to be missed are many types of colorful fish. On the east side of the island, there are elephant heads and three turtles, a natural sculpture formed by wind erosion. Also on the island are shops, restaurants and deck chairs along the beach.
Khai Nai Island is also known as Cat Island because on the island there are cats that the villagers of the island bring to raise many children. All cat lovers can't miss this event.

island can dive to see a variety of coral reefs with beautiful fish.
Koh Khai Nok consists of 2 islands, which resemble fried eggs in the
middle of the sea, with pristine white sand beaches in front and small
sandbars connecting to the rocks. This area is a good spot for
snorkeling. Around the island, you can swim in the clear, calm water.

Khai Nui Island is a popular tourist spot for snorkeling where clownfish can be seen as well. There is also a small beach It is on the island but it is not allowed to go on the beach at this island.

Most of the corals found in this area namely, staghorn coral may be found in coral or other types of coral some too. As for the marine fish that are highlighted, there are yellow cheetah gourami, parrot fish, angelfish, long-finned nori, yellow-backed banana fish, etc.
Traveling to Khai Island
Traveling from Phang Nga, you can charter a boat from Loh Pier from Koh Yao Yai, which takes about 30 minutes. But if coming from Phuket, you can buy a day trip from Chalong Bay which takes 20 minutes as well. It is another beautiful island in Phang Nga province where you can spend time diving or just chilling out on the island to appreciate nature.
