Phi Phi Island is a part of Ao Nang Subdistrict, Krabi Province, on the Andaman Sea. Phi Phi Island is influenced by the western monsoon winds from May to November every year, during which time it is inconvenient to travel to Phi Phi Island. How to get to Phi Phi Islands
Tourists can travel to Phi Phi Islands both from Krabi and Phuket.
From Jilad Pier in Krabi, there are boats departing from Krabi to Phi Phi Island 2 times a day at 10.00 and 15.00. And from Phi Phi Island back to Krabi, the boat leaves at 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., the fare is 350 baht per person, takes about two and a half hours. There is a speedboat for day trips that leave Ao Nang at 9:00 a.m. and return at 5:00 p.m.
Traveling from Phuket, there is a day trip to Phi Phi Island by boat. You can contact the travel agency in Phuket Town. In addition, Ton Sai Bay on Phi Phi Don Island has long tail boats for rent to visit various beaches, including Phi Phi Ley Island.
