Chokkradin Waterfall is located in Thong Pha Phum National Park, Thong Pha Phum District, Kanchanaburi Province. It is a waterfall in the middle of a natural forest valley with water all year round.
It is a waterfall that has only one level and is very beautiful because the water of this waterfall flows through a 30 meter high cliff into a large emerald pool below and then dissipates into water droplets. The water in the basin is able to swim, the deepest depth is in the middle of the basin, about 3-4 meters deep.
For traveling to Chokkradin Waterfall, the route is quite difficult because we have to drive up the hill with not so wide roads and there are over 300 curves in total. On both sides of the road, there are only trees and mist, but along the route, there will be a rest stop for a viewpoint where you can see the view of Wachiralongkorn Dam. And some parts of the road will be gravel paths with rough holes and steep slopes, you have to be very careful. When we reach the parking lot, we have to walk to the waterfall for about 300 meters.
Although this waterfall can be visited all year round, but during the summer the water is less. If anyone wants to come during the rainy season, it is recommended to come during the end of the rainy season and during the winter. The water is cool, refreshing, and it's fun to swim in. But be careful that during the rainy season, the walking path to the waterfall may have slugs, so you should prepare some protective gear. The pebbles in front of the waterfall are quite sharp, so you have to wear shoes that are suitable for swimming to prevent danger.
In addition, within the area of Thong Pha Phum National Park, there are many other tourist attractions such as E Tong Village, Pilok Mine, Noen Chang Suek, Noen Sao Thong, which is a very beautiful viewpoint. For anyone who has the opportunity to visit Kanchanaburi, do not forget to visit this waterfall because in addition to admiring the beauty, it is also very quiet and suitable for relaxation.
